Vincent Scott was born in Kingston, Jamaica in the mid 1950s. His upbringing incorporated regular Sunday worship and he showed a zeal for the things of God. In 1964, aged eight, with his family he left Jamaica for the United Kingdom.

Church continued to play an important part of Vincent’s life. He was a proud choir boy at Saint John Church of England in Waterloo and was confirmed as a Christian by the Bishop of Kingston in 1970.

As a teenager, the pull of the ‘world’ was hard to resist at this age. Vincent was temporarily wooed by the things teenagers find cool. However, the deviation was short-lived as the Lord had a different path for him to follow. Vincent was called out by God to fulfil his purpose. This time there would be no turning back.

The calling was strong; Vincent was Baptised in the Pentecostal Church in September 1995.

Vincent is an ordained and licensed minister. He received his diploma in Theology at Birkbeck College (University of London) in 2007.

Vincent founded Bibleway Pentecostal Church with the view of spreading God’s word as far as possible.
